We are told to wear a mask and stay six feet apart. Now we are told to avoid holiday gatherings outside your own family. These guidelines continue to be told after six months of the beginning of the pandemic of 2020.
What is the definition of INSANTIY?
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” That witticism—I’ll call it “Einstein Insanity”—is usually attributed to Albert Einstein.
What are you doing to improve your health- starting from the gut or microbiome?
“All disease begins in the gut” – It’s a quote attributed to the Ancient Greek physician Hippocrates nearly 2500 years ago. Well he wasn’t far off. Every time we eat or drink or expose ourselves to chemicals and hormones, we are either feeding disease or fighting it!Dec 1, 2019

After traveling on the weekend to my father and brother in laws home on a hilltop overlooking the Roque Valley in Medford, Oregon, I was aware of the messaging at the airport and on the news. I stopped watching most television and getting my news updates on the media in June as the messaging isn’t always accurate.
Wearing masks and staying six feet apart only slows the spread of the virus spreading in 2019-2020.
Wearing a mask does not keep you healthy- unless health means avoid getting the CV Virus.
What we should be doing is taking ownership for our own HEALTH and improve our resiliency with healthy eating and lifestyle habits.
You won’t hear this message in the airport or on the news because getting healthy is a choice -even though building up our immune system should be our main focus right now.
Health is a choice as we have a choice what we eat, when to get outside to move, how we breathe, how much activity we get each day, when we eat (and stop eating) and what we do to before bed to improve the quality of our sleep.
What health building habits are you doing right now to improve your health, microbiome diversity, gut health and strengthen immune system?
Hiding behind a mask and avoiding public areas do not make you healthy to have the strength and resiliency to fight off the virus naturally with your build in immune system -WHEN you are exposed to it some day!
Let’s help improve our health now by being a role model for a family member, friend or co-worker.
What you eat is important, as well as your time in the outdoors moving.
When you eat is important, as well as your time on electronic devices before bed time.
Why you eat is important, as well as how how you digest and absorb your foods to feed your microbiome where 80% of your immune system lives.
What can you do today to become a health optimizer?
