My new journey … my transformation process is starting this season.

The Butterfly is symbolic of transformation which is why it is in my logo for The WHOLESTIC Method coaching program.  The butterfly is meaningful to me since my “tragic’ event back in March 2013.

Life is Not a Race… It is a Journey with The WHOLESTIC Method was created or born after that “event” in 2013.  The new me was created.

After a 4.5 hour solo bike ride this morning (Saturday), I had lots of time to reflect on my life. 

  • What is my purpose?
  • Passion?
  • Mission?
  • Sometimes you need to get away to reflect and to go deep – and for me that is on a long bike ride!

Why are so many athletes struggling with fat loss?

Chronic fatigue?  Inflammation?  Gut issues?  Chronic Stress.

I am on a mission to fix that problem and to provide solutions.

Everything happens for a reason… this is what I always tell myself when something “bad” happens to me.  What is the purpose of this experience?  What are the lessons to be learned?

Well after having my endurance racing life changed in the start of the season in 2013, I have shifted my purpose and mission in life to create “The WHOLESTIC Method” and to become a health, wellness and nutrition coach to help others avoid going through what i have gone through as well as teach individuals and groups …

  1. How to become fat burning machines and get off the blood sugar roller coaster non-stop ride!
  2. How to reduce chronic fatigue and improve mitochondria function
  3. How to improve performance by reducing inflammation, GI stress, blood sugar dysregulation and HPA Axis

We need to train the WHOLE athlete from the inside out to improve performance in life and sports.  As well as looking at our future- are we improving the aging process and enhancing our longevity or speeding up the process?

I have been “forced” to follow my passion and purpose that I started to build in 2013 but I could never find enough time to focus on my mission as I have been a fitness studio owner for ten years.  My days are spent training clients, marketing, managing and surviving as a small business owner.

My time has come… the building that Fitness Forward Studio has lived in for twelve years (ten years in the current space) is ready to be torn down and we are moving out on October 1st, 2019.

What does this mean? 

It means I am finally following my new purpose, passion and mission that I have created since 2013… building The WHOLESTIC Method Coaching online coaching program, Debbie Potts coaching and training The Low Carb Athlete to burn fat, optimize health and improve performance.

I am combining my training and education – and merging three fields together to help individuals improve the aging process – so everyone can feel alive and thriving every day and NOT blame the aging process for their main health complaints and inability to lose fat weight!  We can improve our vitality and not let the fast pace life exhaust us – and suck out the energy from inside of us.  Nutritional Therapy, FDN Practitioner, DNAFit, CHEK HLC, Kion coaching, USAT training, Metabolic Efficiency training and more in my 25 + years experience of a personal trainer/coach is coming together and melting into one service! 

Coaching the WHOLE individual with The WHOLESTIC Method Program.  There is more to burning fat and becoming keto-adapted or fat-adapted by only focusing on WHAT you are eating… what about HOW you eat and WHEN you eat!?  Movement, mobility, strength and exercise?  Digestion absorption and elimination of toxins?  Hydration?  Gratitude, play, laughter and happiness?  The WHOLE you will be transformed with my program… just wait!
