I know you are probably coming home from spring vacation and now ready to “detox” or eat more clean food! Many people want to lose weight the easy way and keep it off.
What works for you doesn’t work for someone else- as we are all bioindividuals with different genetic make-up, backgrounds and gut biome. So what should you eat to lose weight? Go Keto or go home? One eating plan or protocol doesn’t work for everyone but eating REAL FOOD that keeps your blood sugar balanced is the secret to burning fat.
How many grams of carbohydrates should you eat in one day? The typical answer we talk about on my weekly podcast for the last six years… “it depends”.
What does work for most everyone and we all have different metabolisms and activity levels. I always believe that I am metabolically broken as I spent many years eating all non-fat, low-protein, high carbohydrate diet…which most of it was probably processed “diet, low-calorie” diet foods, refined sugars and processed soy. Or else I was eating tons of vegetables as I have always loved big salads!
if you are trying to lose weight… how much should you exercise? What type? What heart rate? Should you do “HIIT” training daily?
Well actually, in my “The WHOLESTIC Method Manual & Workbook” on Amazon … I shared information or “bio-hack” on each of the eight elements of “The WHOLESTIC Method” to become a fat burner, optimize health and to improve performance. After working with personal training and coaching clients for 25 plus years, exercise doesn’t help the most to lose weight.
What helps people lose the most weight? Well probably the other seven of the eight elements!
One of my clients recently lost 35 pounds since January (less than four months ago) by following my “detox and reset’ food plan (Phase One) and then transitioning to the “Phase Two” eating program.
He only jogged/walked once a week with me on Wednesdays plus did some skiing with his kids on the weekends.
How did he lose so much weight?
We improve his liver and digestion systems while switching him from a sugar burner to a fat burner… plus worked on his movement, hydration, sleep and stressors. Yes…STRESS makes you gain weight and STRESS comes in different forms. Learn more in my “LIFE IS NOT A RACE” book about discovering your RED FLAGS and STRESSORS!
