As we evolve on our journey of life, I have discovered my new purpose and passion… coaching up clients to take ownership of their future and improve the aging process.  We can create our FUTURE self now by working on re-creating our current self with the right tools but I believe in testing and not guessing what we as unique individuals need to be working on to improve our aging process and longevity markers.
Since I lost my dad last year to various health issues, I realize we need to create more of an integrative approach to helping people thrive as we age and not struggle. We need to take action now and not wait until we are struggling or suffering. Doctors often need to take a different approach and refer out or create their own team with various health and wellness practitioners. My dad had three different doctors working on him who did not communicate and just prescribed medication. He went into the hospital for kidney issues, but was on various medication‘s and had back pain. Two weeks of bedrest and not being moved and his hospital bed each day he passed away overnight because he did not want to continue on living in this condition as a hospital basically kicked him out and was trying to relocate him into a assisted living home with kidney dialysis. This is not the way we should be living and we should be choosing to improve your quality of life, so we can thrive as we age.
