Debbie Potts Coaching

How much alcohol do you have per week?

Many clients struggle to lose weight, optimize their health and become fat burners because why?  In my experience…they drink too much alcohol each night!

I am not a big drinker – especially after my experience on the “party bus” (see chapter on my personal story in LIFE IS NOT A RACE book on Amazon for details!!).  I coach clients of all ages and sizes but the ones who don’t seem to adhere to their individualized “The WHOLESTIC Method” Nutritional Therapy plan have a common theme.  They don’t stop drinking their wine, cocktails or beer each week- or each night!

So many people seem to use wine or another source of alcohol as a solution to reduce stress, unwind and relax.  Does it really do that for you?  Perhaps if people could limit their intake to one drink a night or even better consume no more than two drinks maximum on two days a week.  The problem is that the majority of my coaching clients trying to lose excess weight, balance their blood sugar and optimize their health do not make that lifestyle change.  It is a habit- just as eating a bag of popcorn at night or having that candy that sits on the counter.

Do we need to go into rehab or sign up for AA?  I always want to ask a client- if you can’t not drink any alcohol for 30 days then we may need to search out additional help with your addiction.

What do you think?

Are you able to stop drinking that glass or bottle of wine each night?

Do you need to have those martini’s at every work event or dinner function you attend each week?

Do you feel that you are only funny and entertaining if you have a few glasses of alcohol?

Let me know as I am curious on the habit and addiction people form over time.  Perhaps their blood sugar will be more stabilized, reduce the insulin surges and reduce fat storage if they stop drinking so frequently as well as improve sleep and reduce stress by searching for other “stress reducer” strategies at night as going for a walk after a busy or stressful day at work!  We should be burning fat during the day and the night – not burning sugar as well as overloading the liver with excess work processing alcohol.

Let’s work on improving the WHOLE you from the inside out with Nutritional Therapy and The WHOLESTIC Method coaching program.

She always wanted to offer programs and services to help transform the WHOLE individual from the inside out with the eight elements of ‘The WHOLESTIC Method’.  Clients will get results in less time with our total body workouts, nutritional and life coaching to reduce chronic stressors.  Debbie created ‘The WHOESLTIC Method Transformational program’ after years of working with clients reaching a dead-end with only personal training sessions.  She wanted to offer programs, services and coaching programs to help transform the WHOLE individual from the inside out with the eight elements of The WHOLESTIC Method.  Clients will get results in less time with our total body workouts, nutritional and life coaching as exercise alone will not always help an individual optimize their health and reach their goals.
Debbie does her best to walk the talk as she was a competitive top age group triathlete, marathoner, and cyclist but since 2013, she has been recovering and rebuilding from Adrenal Exhaustion and burnout.   In November 2016, she shared her personal story called in a book called “LIFE IS NOT A RACE” to help others avoid going through what she has from “living life as a daily race”.  In the past, I have been on the Mark Allen Elite Triathlon team 2004-2013 and placed top  ten overall in numerous Ironman triathlons.  Debbie’s passion and purpose now is to help transform the WHOLE Athlete, of all levels, to learn how to become fat burner, get off the blood sugar roller coaster – and of course reduce stressors from the inside and out!   She offers ‘The WHOLESTIC Method’ 5-day and 30-day total transformation detox, repair and rebuild programs to help clients improve their health at a cellular level.  Debbie Potts is the host of ‘The WHOLE Athlete’ weekly podcast to help athletes of all levels perform their best in sports and life with elements of ‘The WHOLESTIC Method’.
