Transforming through Infrared Therapy: Detox

One of the bodies ways of getting rid of toxins is through sweating. Sweating is good for you. Sweating is one of the body’s safest and most natural ways to heal and maintain good health. Whether that it is through consistent workouts, walking, or getting outdoors we need to do more every day to sweat out the toxins in our bodies.

Being surrounded by toxins daily has led me on a search to find the most natural process of detoxifying my body. In the western world we are often pointed to medicine to suppress the symptoms but did you know that sauna detox has been widely embraced as a healthy treatment in alternative medicine? As the world moves toward more natural and self-directed treatments, infrared therapy is getting more and more attention.

Why? Well, the leading principle of infrared therapy detoxification states that the build-up of toxic substances can lead to a host of common illnesses. Ridding the body of these toxins through a natural detox may help relieve symptoms, prevent future illness and increase overall health and vitality.

Researchers have long told us how the body sweats out toxic substances, including heavy metals. Rather than simply heating the ambient air to draw out toxins, during infrared therapy sessions will heat your core to expel them and detox your body.

As a result, regular infrared therapy sessions will provide a truly deep, productive sweat where toxins reside, at the cellular level.
