Tricia Nelson is welcomed to the podcast in this episode. Debbie loved what Tricia was talking about at the recent FDN Conference and thought we could all learn something from her. Tricia lost fifty pounds by identifying and healing her own underlying causes of emotional eating. She founded the website, program, and podcast called Heal Your Hunger.

Tricia says that she always loved eating. She tried several diets, pills, and so on for weight loss to no avail. She found that she would temporarily lose weight and that it would always come back. Once she learned to dig beneath the food obsession to the root cause, Tricia made massive improvements.

Having made such a turnaround, Tricia has written a book called Heal Your Hunger: 7 Simple Steps to End Emotional Eating Now. She shares tips outlined in this publication along with more advice to have a healthy relationship with food.
