A lot of us athletes go into an event thinking about how great they look and feel. Because of this, we can then get sucked into feeling the need to race again when we should be focused on recovery and repair.

Former triathlete, professional speedgolfer, author, and podcast host Brad Kearns joins today’s episode to talk about the recovery stage. Specifically, he is here to discuss recovery with cryotherapy. Brad even shares an experience in which he learned about the importance of recovery the hard way.

Brad has been participating in cryotherapy (often known as cold therapy) for the past few months and provides insight on his experience. He tells us how he first got involved in it and the internal physical processes that happen while doing his current regimen.
