Are you scared of eating fat because you still believe it will make you FAT?

Fat Phobia.

We were raised to believe all fats are bad fats …and all carbs are healthy for you. We thought we are “healthy” and lose weight if we “ate healthy carbs and avoid fats” – then we were told animal meat and saturated fats are bad for us. What was the end result… or is for those still afraid of healthy fats and clean proteins?

Because we are scared of eating FAT because we believe(d) FAT makes us FAT and carbs makes us skinny.

WRONG.   What happened?  Obesity, insulin resistance, gut dysfunction and chronic inflammation related disease- as well as ADHD and ADD.  The list goes on. We can overeat carbohydrates because they don’t make us full and satisfied.  Carbs are addicting…especially refined sugars!  Food addiction is similar to alcohol, drug or exercise addition.  Just a little taste of sugar or your carb trigger food may set you off into a binge or over eating as you can’t get full – and looking for that “high” from the sugar! This is why I believe Keto food plans/eating style is effective for those with fat phobia and struggle with carb dependency.
