Coming this fall… to go with our theme of transforming our clients into “FAT BURNING MACHINES” we are implementing the ZONING Systems to make sure our clients are working hard on the hard high intensity interval training days, aerobic base training on other days and recovery low heart rates on other workouts.  imageAs I have talked about in past blogs and in my podcast “SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!”… we need to look at the WHOLE picture when trying to improve fat loss, health and performance in life and sports.

For over twenty years I have been in the fitness industry as a trainer, coach, speaker, instructor and athlete.  I have use heart rate training myself and with clients to improve performance.  Now I want to use heart rate training in our small group and group training workouts to help clients become fat burning machines as I talk to clients every week struggling to lose weight.

After listening and observing clients over the years, I have created the “WHOLESTIC Method” and host my podcast on these eight elements to improve fat loss, health and performance including nutrition and exercise.  In order to lose weight, we don’t need to eat less and exercise harder…rather we need to look at the WHOLE approach to get results which includes becoming fat adapted and fat burning machines.

How to we know if we are fat burners?  We offer New Leaf Metabolic Testing at Fitness Forward Studio to test your ability to burn fat at rest as well as during exercise at various heart rates and intensities.  Once we conduct your exercise test, we then can determine your heart rate training zones, exercise prescription, nutrition and other elements of the WHOLESTIC method to become fat burning machines.   image

3.  Register for our ZONING Fat Blaster Orientation group training workout on the schedule
