How to prepare for the RESTING (RMR) Metabolic Test:
- No intense exercise within 24-hours
- Wear appropriate workout clothes
- Bring appropriate shoes
- Bring fresh clothing and snack if needed for after the test
- Test is in three parts
- Warm-up
- Main set
- Recovery
How to complete an RMR Protocol for the Practitioner:
- No intense exercise for last 24 hours
- Fasted at least five hours before test
- No smoking
- No caffeine or energy drinks five hours before the test
- Water is okay within five hour test
- Same steps as exercise test but choose RMR test – lasts 10-15 minutes
