Our guest for today, Dr. Elizabeth Bright, is a highly respected American Osteopath and Naturopath living in Italy. She is the former Chef-owner of Coppi’s Organic and The Vigorelli Restaurants in Washington, D.C. She is a master in Chau Ka Kung Fu. She has been eating a high-fat carnivore diet and has been using it as a treatment modality since 2016. Dr. Elizabeth is also the author of Good Fat is Good for Women: Menopause, which reveals that menopause is a positive evolution for women and that the symptoms associated with it are not due to menopause.
During our discussion, you will discover ways to heal your hormones with a high-fat carnivore diet. Dr. Elizabeth shares what inspired her to write her book: Good Fat is Good for Women: Menopause, why women need more healthy fats, the strategies to start a high-fat carnivore diet, and the importance of exercising in the morning and not at night. She also talks about hormonal imbalance for men, women, and athletes as we age, the research that shows that a high-fat diet helps in recovery, and the hormone-building food plan that is going to feed our hormones and help our adrenals, thyroids, and gut health.
