Do you struggle losing weight?

Why do some people struggle to lose weight?

Are you dieting and exercising frequently and not getting the results you expected? Getting healthy isn’t about eating less and exercising more. It isn’t only about eating real food but more about eating real food and being able to absorb the nutrients. Digestion, blood sugar regulation, liver function and stress need to be functioning together as an orchestra. We need to choose the right foods to eat for our metabolic type, exercise the right way for our stress levels, health and fitness goals BUT we need all body systems to be working at the optimal level especially if you are trying to lose weight and reduced unexplained symptoms.

Well as I say in my book LIFE IS NOT A RACE, “anything too much is toxic and anything too little can lead to deficiencies”. So, if we are chronically stressed, have any chronic infection, taking medications, drinking alcohol daily, smoking and/or eating too much sugar then we are adding excess workload on our liver. When we have excess toxins building up (back up as the liver becomes sluggish and slow on its job to filter toxins), then build up of toxins are stored in our fat cells. You may be eating a nutrient-rich whole foods-based diet, but if you are stressed, not digesting your food and have a congested, sluggish liver then you probably will be having difficulty losing weight until you do something about your health from the inside out–as we discuss in The WHOLESTIC Method Manual and Workbook.
