Episode #149: Triathlon Training and Racing: Lessons Gained with Gwen Duhon

As competitive athletes, we tend to ignore red flags. It’s important to know when we need rest, when to modify workouts or reschedule, and when to take the advice of a coach.

Gwen Duhon began doing Ironmans in 1990 and was a competitive swimmer prior to that. After a 25 year break, she started again, but not without some health issues along the way.

She eventually tried out the Keto diet, and aside from an initial “keto flu” in the beginning, Gwen’s hip pain went away, and she attributes the diet with solving her inflammation problems.
