Sometimes we just need to press “pause and reset” and to recalibrate. For some people, as the amazing lovable and passionate Jimmy Moore, this involves walking away from your major triggers – social media, podcasting and blogging. You can’t heal yourself if you are battling “fires” each day and “running from a lion” constantly during the day.
Those of us living life as a race with “type AAA personalities”, struggle with doing less and slowing down until you realize you need to stop how you are living if you want to be alive and thriving everyday.
I spoke this past week on our the 12th Annual Low Carb Keto cruise on how “chronic stress impacts the WHOLE you from the inside out!”- Hosted by Jimmy and Christine Moore. As I shared my personal story in my book “Life is Not a Race” to help other people avoid going through what I had happen to me starting in 2013. We can catch those red flags and signals our body sends us if we stop, pause and listen but we are so busy that we often miss those signals.
I am proud to hear that my friend Jimmy Moore is taking care of his body, mind and spirit by taking a six month break to reset and reboot the WHOLE Jimmy from the inside out. We can’t easily heal ourselves -unless we walk away from the sources of chronic stress and triggers.

My friends Jimmy and Christine more finally figured out they could only heal and recalibrate their souls by leaving the social media, podcasting and blogging world for six months. They identified their sources of external stress and addiction to busyness as social media, emails and being connected leads to a source of CHRONIC STRESS. For Jimny, the 2% of negative hurt full emails out weighed the 98% of loving, grateful and supportive emailed from his fans who appreciate everything he does and gives to the Low-Carb Keto world.
For someone that has dedicated 15 years of his life sharing his personal life, successes, wins and losses- people forget about that people have feelings and words hurt. I am sure most everyone could never say hurtful words to someone in person but it is amazing how people can damage a persons spirit and self-esteem on social media or in an email. Words hurt. Especially for someone who gives so much just to follow their passion, purpose and mission in life. Jimmy Moore has made a major impact in our world and he will continue to do so as that is his personality and who he is – BUT he needs to take time off to heal mind, body and spirit. I know first hand that chronic stress and chronic business only leads to “METABOLIC CHAOS” and the boat will keep sinking if you don’t find where the leak is in the boat.
