How to Train The WHOLE Athlete for peak performance gains

Do you want to improve your performance this year for a race or event?

How about improving your performance in daily life to improve the aging process and longevity?

As I complete the training to become an FDN-Practitioner, or specifically a ‘Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner’, I will be adding this addition “tool” to my tool box to help improve function and optimize health for individuals who struggle with:

  1. chronic fatigue
  2. mood swings and irritability
  3. sleep issues
  4. digestion issues, gas and bloating
  5. hormone imbalances
  6. weight gain or struggle losing fat weight
  7. chronic inflammation
  8. slow recovery and repair

These “areas of opportunities” or main complaints that clients experience and struggle with daily, can be improved by combing information and healing opportunities are identified as we collect data from:

  • Nutritional Therapy assessment and evaluation
  • Genetics reports via data collected into DNAFit
  • FDN-P lab testing
  • The WHOLESTIC Method lifestyle adjustments

Your Performance may be improved if we work together …but there are no guarantees of results as we do not control the outcomes and you have to be ready to commit to the work.

This is not a quick fix by putting a “band-aid” on the symptom.  That only provides short term or temporary relief from your main complaints.

We work together, a client and practitioner/coach to identify healing opportunities and set reasonable expectations.  I know from my own experience, patience is the key as my clients are usually similar to me – Type AAA personalities wanting to be “fixed’ in a week or month.  If you read my personal story in “LIFE IS NOT A RACE” – you know if has taken me years to “repair” and transform myself as it wasn’t a supplement that I was missing but rather my own “re-adjustment” of my mindset and lifestyle habits.

As an FDN-practitioner and a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I will help improve the function of your body systems while we remove the H.I.D.D.E.N. stressors we will hopefully identify via the labs and assessments.  We should not accept our health complaints as the new “normal” and part of the aging process (my pet peeve excuse people make!).

Once we collect all of the data and assessments, we will then create an individualized “The WHOLESTIC Method” plan for you to follow so you can regain your energy and vitality!  Your performance in your next event or race should improve if you follow the plan and train the WHOLE you instead of over training and ignoring your red flags!  Stay with the program and stay on course if you want to heal the WHOLE you from the inside out!

We start with a Nutritional Assessment and lifestyle interview then discuss (assess) your main health concerns then we decide if we can do a Nutritional Therapy functional evaluation if local and order which clinical labs to make sure we don’t guess on what is going on with your body creating dysfunction.  We want to get you functioning so we need to look “under the hood” and find the underlying causes via lab testing and the Nutritional Therapy functional evaluation.  Then we continue reviewing, assessing and creating a new plan until we reach homeostasis and your main health concerns/complaints are no longer an issue!
