10 Tips On How Not to Be The Stuffed Turkey…

10 Tips On How Not to Be The Stuffed Turkey…

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving! I’m very excited to share with you my 10 tips on how not to be the Stuffed Turkey…

1. Workout hard intervals the morning off the big holiday meal (930am FF). High intensity intervals mixed with strength work.
2. Bring a vegetable tray you made for an appetizer!
3. Eat a small snack before you go to your friends or family’s house for Thanksgiving… don’t go starving.
4. Doing a Holiday Potluck? Bring a dish or two that you know how it was prepared
5. Eating Family Style? Try to serve the food from another table or in the kitchen so that extra serving is not staring at you on the table.
6. Go for a walk after the family meal
7. Eat slowly… drink more water (sparkling water with lemon?)
8. Control alcohol intake and balance with water… even with family members that cause stress!
9. Digestion starts in the mouth… chew your food 20-30 times before swallowing.
10. Cut back on what you are eating the entire day but don’t go starving… try making a “super greens” vegie drink
