Do You Need to Reboot Your System?

After five years of trying repair, recover and rebuild my adrenals, or more specifically the HPA Axis, I have discovered my red flags and triggers that set me back into adrenal dysfunction or HPA dysfunction.  You may have different triggers that set you off to feeling that you are running from a lion all day long.

When I am living life as a race each day, even though I tried hard to slow down and pace myself during the day, I can feel my body telling me to stop, pause and reset or else I am in trouble.  I often over reach in life and try to do everything my best- and afraid to fail as with my business.  In the past, I when I felt exhausted, fat and couldn’t train or race for triathlons, I went to multiple doctors, naturopaths and functional doctors for the magic solution.

After many lab tests and supplements, the only way to recover and rebuild was to not only take the supplements that worked for me (NTP testing) but change my approach to life each day!  Slow down, focus and enjoy the journey!

When my body feelings like it is in overdrive with symptoms as…

  • shorten breathing patterns
  • faster paced heart rate
  • impatient and irritability
  • gaining fat weight
  • feeling tired in the day
  • difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep

What do I do to reset and reboot my system?

I know when I am in overdrive and my beaker of stress is over flowing then I need to stop and reassess my lifestyle and habits.  My personality is to multi-tasking and over reach each day.

  • acupuncture
  • infrared therapy treatment
  • breathing exercises throughout the day (pause and slow down)
  • adrenal adaptagen herbal drops
  • nap in the after work when have lunch break
  • test my HRV daily with SweetBeat to measure nervous system
  • use Vibrant Blue Oils PNS oil and Adrenal oil
  • walk instead of run
  • lift weights slow and heavy instead of HIIT if exhausted

What are you able to do to hit your reset button?

I know my triggers are coming from my business admin duties and financial stress so I need to reassess my business plan, goals and passion/purpose.

How am I able to follow my purpose, passion and create impact in our world without over loading my beaker of stress and burning my systems out?
