I have been healing and making my “come back” for FIVE YEARS since all of my symptoms started in 2013. Maybe you need to look at the WHOLE you and your WHOLE life as you have some choices you can make if you want to slow down the aging process as well as improve digestive health. We can’t eliminate stress and we should not as anything too much is toxic, and anything too little can be deficient. The solution is to “bio-hack” on yourself to discover how much “STRESS” is too much and what is your tipping point.
In my The WHOLESTIC Method program, we begin with a “detox” for five days for our Phase One then move into a 21-day sugar detox – which is more of a digestive reset and repair. We also work on the other elements of The WHOLESTIC Method to improve our WHOLE health from the inside out including:
- nutrition- avoiding inflammatory foods, refined sugars and excess carbohydrates
- exercise- a variety of exercise including walking, strength, intervals, Pilates and yoga
- sleep- going to bed earlier, staying off computers before bed, reading and journaling pre-bed (7-9 hrs)
- stress- breathing and mediating, nature walks, fun weekends, play time, music, singing
- movement – mobility exercises, walking and moving more during the day
- digestion- relaxation, focus and disconnecting when eating
- hydration- clean water throughout the day with some lemon slices and sometimes sea salt for minerals
- happiness- laughing, playing and being grateful each day!
Sometimes we need to add nutrients to help rebuild, heal and repair our gut as well as adrenal (HPA system).
