Dear Fitness Forward clients,
Fitness Forward Studio is now eleven years old!
A lot has changed at the studio and in our community since we first opened our doors in our current location on February 1st, 2010! Many wonderful clients have joined over the years, bringing a wide range of interests and opportunities; fantastic trainers have joined the family, as well, offering incredible expertise and experience; my own personal story has evolved as well, as an athlete and trainer, across client training, nutrition, coaching athletes and podcasting. The business landscape of downtown Bellevue has certainly changed, bringing unprecedented real estate development, more people, numerous gyms and fitness studios, and inevitably, new business opportunities and some challenges, too!
I feel so grateful to each and every one of you for your long standing loyalty, incredible energy, and strong support over the months and years. Each one of you has played a meaningful part in creating our very special Fitness Forward community. Thank you for joining me and Michael, as well as our other trainers Sue, Missy, Shannon, Heather, Kelvin, Jonathan and Bryan, on this incredible fitness journey toward achieving optimal health and well being!
Over the past several months, I have been thinking a lot about our studio, and what services and support we should offer our clients as we look to the future. What differentiates Fitness Forward? How can I and our incredible trainers here most effectively meet the needs and interests of you, our valued clients? In the current environment, how can Fitness Forward most viably and effectively pursue its mission to best support you in optimizing your fitness and well being?
After much reflection, I find myself returning to my original purpose when I started Fitness Forward Studio in our first location eleven years ago: to work with clients primarily on an individualized basis, with a focus on providing highly personalized training and other new approaches to maximize each client’s fitness and overall wellness. This includes continued personal training – individual (one client) and shared (2-4 clients), as well as other services as individualized Nutritional Therapy, Massage, Acupuncture, Stretch therapy, Infrared therapy, and of course my baby- “The WHOLESTIC Method” Coaching Program. I am focusing on building my Debbie Potts coaching program, speaking, plus my weekly The WHOLE Athlete podcasts with industry experts, and Nutrition courses.
Starting April 1st, all scheduled group training classes will be cancelled as we have needed at least an average of five clients or more clients (8-12 ideally). We will be taking those times to offer our individualized shared personal training sessions (2-4 clients). In order for a group training session to be scheduled, however, we will need a consistent minimum of at least five regular, pre-registered/pre-paid participants on an ongoing basis.
I have outlined below more details. One pricing change to note: as the very large group classes of years past have discontinued, Fitness Forward’s group training auto-renewal program will no longer be available, rolling off individually during the month of March.
Personal Training:
- Personal training with Debbie, Michael Bowman, or Shannon Paterson: please see Mindbodyonline for current availability, or schedule sessions with the trainer directly. Michael is available for personal training Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and Shannon and I have mixed availability across the week. Sue and Missy are available directly for appointments.
- Personal Training is a great way to experience our quality personal training and how we create individualized training sessions based on the client’s goals, needs and “areas of opportunities”.
- Shared personal training sessions (2-4 clients) with Debbie, Michael and Shannon are also available Monday-Friday and encompass individualized training programs based on your specific needs and goals.
- Sue Matyas and Missy are also available for personal training sessions Monday – Friday. Contact me for their contact information.
- I will offer continued Nutritional Therapy and “WHOLESTIC Method” coaching programs on set days. In May, I will be seeking additional training to become a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN). Building on my physical training and fitness foundation, I am excited to continue to broaden my expertise to support clients’ health and healing, slow the aging process, and increase overall wellness through important analysis of nutrition, gut health and other THE WHOLESTIC METHOD lifestyle considerations.
Personal Training Rates: ask for our availability for individual training or our shared personal training rates as below
- 30-minute shared personal training: $40 – $45 (2-4 clients)
- 45-minute shared personal training: $55 – $60 (2-4 clients)
- 30-minute individual personal training: $55 ($65 Debbie)
- 45-minute individual personal training: $75 ($85 Debbie)
- Nutritional Therapy and The WHOLESTIC Method coaching with Debbie: start at $150
Group Training: is cancelled as of March 30th 2019
- Until further notice, we will not be offering group training sessions as of now starting April 1st.
- A new schedule may be developed IF we have a minimum of five or more pre-paid for the month ahead.
Current Group Training Rates: if we create new group training sessions based on demand (5 clients minimum)
- Group training single session: $29
- Group training 10 session package: $250
- Effective April 1st, Auto-Renewal Group Training Rates will no longer be available, rolling off during the month of March.
I am sorry that we can no longer provide the prior group classes and the auto-renewal pricing as times and rates have changed over the years. I hope you will consider our shared personal training options. Even if for one sessions per week to keep you working on proper form, alignment and “areas of opportunity” – as I feel we can help you, keep you motivated and consistent plus we would really miss you if you didn’t continue!!
