Find the root cause…not just treat the symptoms

We have been trained to go to the doctor when we have a stomach bug, headache, IBS, skin rashes and more.  We leave the doctor’s office with a feeling of satisfaction…we are going to make some progress and start healing.  Then we begin taking the medication or treatment plan from the doctors (usually a medication) to treat our symptoms.  The problems may go away but often returns again in one form or the other.

Don’t you want to investigate and get to the root cause to determine why you keep getting headaches or bloated belly or skin rash on your arms?  80x80 (1)

Traditional medicine helps treat our symptoms but we should try mixing in some non-traditional alternative methods to healing.  We should work with someone that is going to help us investigate our list of symptoms then dig deeper to research for the root cause.  A functional medicine doctor or a naturapath can help provide a different viewpoint on what your symptoms are coming from and help find the root cause with a serious of questions and specific lab work.image

Next time you have gut issues or skin issues maybe switch up going to renew your prescription or pick up the over the counter medication.  Try getting consulting with a naturapath or another practitioner who has to goal to figure out where the problem is starting from…often it is related to our gut health, stress and nutrition.  Fitness Forward 3 (2)Try treating your body with the WHOLESTIC method to improve your health from the inside out.  Look at the whole picture to improve your fat loss, health and performance.  You don’t have to suffer for years… you may just need to change your diet and get the right supplements after the appropriate lab tests.
