I was training, racing and fueling as a low carb athlete. 

I was doing morning fasted workouts. 

I was racing as a low carb athlete and very metabolically efficient with a very high metabolic crossover point (fat to carb).  

I did compete in many races per year. 

I was fit and healthy in the outside… but I learned in March 2013 that I wasn’t healthy on the inside. 

I was living Life as a Race and not a Journey.

When to take Vespa….and with which type of workouts- how much- and why!?

Take 30-45 minutes prior to starting exercise.

If exercise duration is greater than 2 hours take a Vespa every 2-2.5 hours.

  • Long Workouts
  • Hard/High Intensity workouts 

Remember, “What you notice is what you don’t notice…..i.e. the ups and downs in energy, constant need to ingest food, mental fog, soreness after a long or hard workout.
