Renessa: A client’s 30 day journey

Day One Blog Today is my first day of my 30 day challenge. This morning I weighed myself and I weighed 199 lbs. I am almost tipping the scale to 200. I have not been this weight since I was pregnant carrying a baby and here I am 32 years old and big enough to be pregnant. This seems like it happened overnight but in reality it was a process. A process of me not putting me first. Today was hard not eating all the food I wanted to eat. I have to keep in mind that food is no longer a reward for a long day at work but food is fuel to keep me healthy and to get me thinner… this is a great way to think but for my first day it was thought forging into my reality. I wanted carbs not the healthy avocado carbs but the crackers, tortilla chips and most of all cheese. Gosh I love cheese. Okay I have to stop before I start eating a block of cheese before bed. I did 50 minutes of core training today with Debbie that felt great and I felt more energy after the workout then before. I had chicken with spring salad and spinach with avocado today and snacked on some almonds and had coffee/tea and lots of water. So much that I had to pee all day, which I feel totally disrupts my train of thought at work but at least its cleaning me out! I hope to lose 2 pounds by Saturday and stay focused on my goal. Wish me luck on day 2.
