Survey: Strength training for the busy Triathlete

If you train and compete in half Ironman and full Ironman distance triathlons… what are you doing for your strength training workout early season?  pre-season?  during race season?

Please share what you typical workout is for you and how much time you spend in the gym… or maybe you feel that you don’t have time for another workout as the swim, bike and run workouts take enough of your time!  Send me your routine via email fitnessforward@comcast.net or on my Fitnessforward Facebook page as I would love your feedback.  I am assisting Mark Allen and Luis Vargas in developing the strength training program for Mark Allen Online clients.  What type of equipement do you have?  Do you go to a gym or workout at home?  Do you spend 20 minutes or 60 minutes on strength work?  Do you have any common injuries?  Do you go to group training classes or private trainer?  Do you do yoga?  Pilates?  Plyometrics?  What are your areas of “opportunity”?  I would love to hear your feedback and experience so I can create the ideal efficient and effective workout program for the competitive triathlete in 2013.  Coach Debbie Potts
